Transition and Transformation methodology

Transfer of services to Zalaris as a part of an outsourcing agreement is handled with our proven transition and transformation approach.    This minimises any disruption to your business while ensuring that the Zalaris smartHR solutions are delivered on time, on budget and as promised.

Transition

The Transition Programme typically lasts 4-6 months.  It begins 1-2 months before the service transfer date to Zalaris and continues for 3-4 months after.

The Transition Programme has three high level objectives, to ensure that the:

  • Business processes are seamlessly delivered post-transfer - the vital first step of delivery for an external service provider
  • Morale of the transferred staff is raised through regular and open communication
  • Relationship between the customer and Zalaris is based upon appropriate frameworks for managing the interaction for the length of the arrangement

 

The Transition Programme is normally organised in four the following work streams:

  • People Transfer – from customer to Zalaris, in accordance with the EU Transfer of Rights Directive and local labour laws
  • Service Management – to develop mutually agreed upon SLA and service reporting
  • Office/Infrastructure Management – to physically set up the new unit
  • Financial Management – to develop reporting and invoicing procedures

The Transition Programme is managed by a Zalaris programme manager who reports to a Joint Steering Group (JRB) consisting of both customer and Zalaris executive management.

Transformation

The task of implementing an outsourcing customer agreement on the Zalaris smartHR based platform is organised using our Transformation programme.

The Transformation Programme has four high level objectives:

  • To implement best practice SAP HR based processes for the customer’s in-scope processes
  • To ensure that the implemented in-scope processes satisfy the customer’s business needs
  • Transformation of the service from the customer’s legacy systems to the Zalaris smartHR solution powered by SAP HCM without disruption of service and in accordance with the requirements of the customer’s stakeholders
  • Work together with the customer to ensure that proper change management activities are being implemented in the customer’s organisation to allow for the successful rollout of the new smartHR solution
